Statue Fit for a King

When Dr. Ronald McDowell completes the statue project, Montgomery will have a statue fit for a king.

On the day the nation honored Dr. Martin Luther King and in the city where he rose to prominence as a national Civil Rights leader, a big announcement was made.

Dr. Ronald McDowell was acknowledged as the artist who has been commissioned to sculpt a statue of Dr. King that will be placed in front of Dr. King’s former church.

Newsman Tim Lennox interviewed Dr. McDowell about the statue project.
