Winning Combination: All Macon County Day & T-100
It’s obvious this was a winning combination, from the comments to the displays of support for the T-100 at the 2017 All Macon County Day celebration.
If you were not there, you missed a good time. With a canopy of partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures, even the weather cooperated.
The day kicked off with a parade featuring high energy high school performances, fire trucks from many municipalities within Macon County, law enforcement vehicles, community organizations and many other entities.
Led by 22-year old Aleeyah Sanders, Tuskegee University students participated in the parade, wearing T-100 Tuskegee t-shirts and waving signs reminding the community of the 100 DAYS OF T-100 SUPPORT campaign.
The Tuskegee Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) dedicated its tent to 100 DAYS OF T-100 SUPPORT and gave away bags imprinted with the Leonardo DRS and T-100 logos.
Macon County Commission Chairman Louis Maxwell thanked local T-100 advocates for their engaging community awareness efforts.
