Alabama Launchpad Competition
Alabama Launchpad competition is actively seeking startup and emerging businesses that are positioned for growth.
Auburn University in conjunction with several partners, is reaching out to Macon County businesses to inform them about the potentially big prize that could possibly go to the Launchpad winner.
Dr. LaKami Baker met with local entrepreneurs at the Tuskegee-Macon County Community Development Center (TuskMac CDC) to explain the Auburn Regional Alabama Launchpad project.
Though everyone’s ears perked up when she talked about the potential $100,000 prize, Dr. Baker gave a thorough accounting of the process. She also said every participant will get valuable feedback from the evaluating judges.
To enter, business owners must submit a completed application, 3-minute pitch video, a business plan that is no more than 11-pages and a $150 application fee. The deadline for submitting is January 4, 2018.
