WSFA Visits Tuskegee for firsthand look at STEM Learning

WSFA News reporter Rosanna Smith visited Tuskegee Middle School and saw STEM learning up close.

Science teacher BeLinda Hart instructed 8th grade students to build a bridge using Popsicle sticks, toothpicks and candy.

On the evening newscast, the audience saw a classroom full of children, engaged in a hands-on learning project.

Viewers also discovered that many of the students aspire to become engineers, a profession that is highly relevant to Leonardo DRS, manufacturers of the T-100 training fighter jet.
