Tuskegee barbers are putting their skills to work for a good cause.
Ryan Lemoine, a 2015 Tuskegee University graduate and owner of “The Head Kuarters Barbershop,” had his first “BACK 2 SCHOOL BASH” in 2016. He gave away free haircuts to grade school students as they prepared for the new school year. Inspired by the success of his very first event, he decided to repeat it and make it bigger and better.
This year Ryan added a few other Tuskegee grads to his back to school squad. Tuskegee-based barber Norman Pitts, owner of “The E.R. Barbershop” will join Ryan to give out free cuts as well. Also, award-winning entrepreneur Keon Davis, founder, and owner of “SmoothNGroove” will provide smoothies.
They also will give away free school supplies, toys, games, tie tutorials and will also boost the experience with a bouncer, movies, food, and more.
Ryan says, “Tuskegee is really where it started for all of us…… it’s just time to start giving back.”
Make sure you bring your kids out to the fresh BACK 2 SCHOOL BASH
