County Perspective 2017-2018

Louis Maxwell is celebrating solidarity as Macon County embarks on a new year. He is pleased by the way communities have stood together in recent months and trusts that this energy will continue.

He says he and his fellow Macon County Commissioners are amazed at how much they accomplished in 2017.

And you can hear the urgency in his voice when he talks about how badly he wants  Exit 38 become a reality in 2018.

If this happens, it will unleash a flood of tax revenues that will ripple throughout the county.
